Legal PA/Legal Secretary – Litigation

Skills and experience

  • Key client care – providing clients with a point of contact including working closely with our Business Development team to provide first rate support.
  • Provide effective high level administrative support to lawyers/​Partners
  • Work alongside Group Manager to continuously develop effective ways of working within the team
  • Deal with enquiries from clients, colleagues and third parties, provide effective transfer of information
  • Audio/​copy typing – approx 70%​ of the role
  • Administrative work – approx 30%​ of the role
  • Amend and format legal documentation and initiate/​compose direct correspondence
  • Proactive diary and inbox management for lawyers, provide cover for team members during sickness/​holidays
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects
  • Billing and credit control procedures for lawyers and clients
  • Good time management and performance management
