Fast forward several months since part two, and Goliath is still on the ground and we are certain he will stay down. You will remember that initially the national company who our client was in a dispute with was not sensibly engaging. To the point where all they did was make a derisory offer of settlement which was off the record, while denying liability on the record.

Since our involvement, not only has the national company admitted liability on the record almost straightaway, but they have now agreed to pay a settlement sum which is eight and a half times larger than their initial settlement offer.

The client is pleased, history need not be rewritten, and David walks off into the sunset with his sling back in his pocket...
